January: Twisted Tales

We’re kicking off January with stories you might already be familiar with. For our first reading challenge category of the year, we’re recommending a retelling of a classic book, fairytale or mythology for readers of all ages. This is a great month to start the little readers on a monthly reading goal!

February: Close to Home

Does your hometown have a famous local author? Is your current city the setting for a famous work? February is the month to pick up a book where the setting plays a major role and learn more about the works that developed from your neck of the woods.

March: Captivating Collections

Does reading multiple short stories feel like more of an accomplishment than reading a long novel? If you’re nodding “yes”, March’s reading challenge category is for you! Take a break from all of the spring cleaning and pick up a collection of anthologies, essays or poetry this month.

April: Debut Works
