Are you still up waiting for the clock to strike midnight? Perhaps ringing in the new year with a book to keep you awake? Us, too! We thought we’d get one more blog post in before the year is up. Yes, we know we already did a “2014 in Review” type post. But this one isn’t about 2014… it’s about 2015.
“I should really read more.” You’ve heard it a squillion times around this time of year. Call us new-fashioned, but we think it’s not about the quantity of books you read (with a tip of our conical party hat to all our power-readers out there), but the quality of your reading.
That’s not to say you should only read Grade A, five star, 10/10-would-read-again type books either. No—we’re thinking more along the lines of how you make your book purchases, and how you make a difference with every cent that you spend on that “to read” stack.
So thanks for another great year of resolving to move the needle on global literacy, and to support the planet simply by being selective about where you get your books from (and where they go when you’re done with them).
This is Better World Books signing off for 2014. We hope you’re ready to do it all over again—only better. See you next year, readers!
