2021 Reading Challenge: Timeless Classics

You’ve made it a quarter of the way through our 2021 Reading Challenge. Congrats! We hope you’ve already enjoyed a few great reads. This month, we’ll be enjoying some timeless classics.

You’re welcome to choose any book in the classics category to fulfill April’s theme but if you need a little bit of help, we polled our Facebook and Instagram followers for the title suggestions you’ll see below.

Jane Eyre

By Charlotte Bronte

Written in 1847 under Bronte’s pen name, Currer Bell, any timeless classics list would be incomplete without Jane Eyre. This title was the most suggested book in our April Reading Challenge poll.

Little Women

By Louisa May Alcott

This long-time feminist favorite recently hit the silver screen with a star-studded cast. Dive into the remarkable lives of Jo, Beth, Meg and Amy.

The Great Gatsby

By F. Scott Fitzgerald

This classic “Will they, won’t they?” story of romance and drama was another highly recommended book by our Facebook and Instagram followers. Get ready for a good time when you crack this one open because no one throws a party quite like Jay Gatsby.

To Kill a Mockingbird

By Harper Lee

This classic has stood the test of time, consistently being one of our fiction best sellers. Although the book was written created in the early 1960’s, the message of this Harper Lee classic still touches lives today.

Beloved

By Toni Morrison

In the well-known novel by Morrison, Sethe was born a slave and escaped to Ohio, but eighteen years later she is still not free. She has too many memories of Sweet Home, the beautiful farm where so many hideous things happened.

None of these titles speaking to you? That’s okay! We’ve put together an entire category on the home page of our website highlighting timeless classics. Head over there for more options!
