The Better World Books family is saddened by the ruthless and tragic events unfolding across Ukraine, and words alone cannot convey our heartfelt condolences. We stand with the people of Ukraine and all those endangered and impacted by these needless and unwarranted acts of war that have resulted in massive destruction to life-sustaining infrastructure and in the loss of human life.
As the world watches the evil nature of these catastrophic human atrocities expand to communities across Ukraine, and now beyond Ukraine’s own borders, we are reminded of the importance of making knowledge available to everyone in all corners of the world.
We stand for freedom, and we stand with Ukraine. We believe in the power of knowledge, and knowledge must—and will—prevail.
