In honor of Veterans Day and all those who have served, Better World Books is pleased to have the opportunity to support the South Bend Veterans Writing Workshop. The writing workshop will give South Bend, IN, area veterans a safe, supportive and productive environment in which to share their stories and do so to a wider audience. Â Additionally, the workshops will allow veterans to benefit from the therapeutic nature of writing by helping them express themselves through stories or poetry in an environment of trust and respect.
Workshops are planned to begin at the end of the month and run through the 2015-2016 school year. Participants will be given the tools need to confidently write their stories and share them with a larger audience.
We at Better World Books are pleased to help support this project that will tell the important stories the brave men and women who have served our country.
