Southern novelist Karen White’s first book for NAL, The Color of Light, was named one of the Top Ten Summer Reads by Atlanta Magazine, became a Southeast Bookseller Association best seller, and was honored with awards and nominations from writers’ organizations in her home state, Georgia, and as far afield as Wisconsin and Colorado. Pieces of the Heart, Learning to Breathe and The Memory of Water followed and, in November 2008, NAL releases The House on Tradd Street.
