Wierd. I take used books I haven’t previously read, of course. Betterworld or ideally thrift shop finds, and a couple of pre-paid A5 and A4 envelopes if I’m outward bound. Books found too good to discard are posted to friends or occasionally to myself, others go into the charity bin or occasionally to hotels which sensibly provide shelves for an informal lending library for guests.
I would take the Bible as it is the only book you can keep reading for a lifetime and never know the complete depth of what God has for us and fully understand all there is to know, that being the case you would always have something to read and never get tired of reading it. There is something in it for everyone from childhood to very old age. The Greatest Story Ever Told.
