I am just dying to get to Empire of the Summer Moon (Quanah Parker & the Rise & Fall of the Comanches, the most Powerful Indian Tribe in American History) by S. C. Wynne. A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize & recommended by Hampton Sides of Blood & Thunder fame, this should be a must-read for lovers of Western & American history!
Heaven is for Real is an excellent book. I highly recommend it 🙂
I have read “The Odyssey” & “The Hobbit”. I am looking forward to reading “Lionheart” by Sharon Penman about Richard 111.
Stephen King’s 11/22/63 was a good read. It revolves around the question ”
if you could go back and time and change something, should you?”.
My list would include Seamus Heaney’s “Beowulf”, re-reading “Notes of a Native Man” by James Baldwin and reading Erik Larson’s “In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror and and an American Family in Hitler’s Berlin.”
